The Bottom Line: Lexington County School District One will cancel school for all students and employees on Monday, January 26, 2026. All schools and district offices will be closed and all after-school activities are canceled.
- This decision follows a briefing with county emergency officials earlier today. Based on the latest National Weather Service update, possible additional ice accumulation and low temperatures tonight may keep roads hazardous through Monday morning. Because conditions will not improve in time to operate buses safely on a delay, we are canceling school to prioritize the safety of our students, employees and families.What’s Next:District leaders will continue to monitor road conditions and coordinate with Lexington County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service.
